International Festival
de Música de Cambra de Godella 2022

The XIV edition of the Festival Internacional Residències de Música de Cambra de Godella, held from 19th to 28th July 2022, revolved around the pleasure of making music and sharing it, with a programme that celebrated the beauty of sound – from the classical repertoire to the most contemporary expressions.
Highlights included works by 20th-century French composers such as Francis Poulenc, as well as a Schubertiada and a Fusteriada, which combined chamber music with the poetry of Joan Fuster in the year of his centenary. The festival also offered original experiences such as a musical-cultural walk through Godella and a gastronomic concert inspired by Gioachino Rossini.
Among the invited artists were performers such as Trio Arbós, clarinettist Joan Enric Lluna – also the artistic director of the festival – and resident musicians who shared the stage with promising young performers in various ensembles. As is tradition, training played a central role with workshops and student concerts.
The closing event featured a performance of the Choral Suite from Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story, bringing together professional musicians, young students, and a participatory choir. A year full of inspiration, community, and shared beauty.
