Music constitutes an essential cultural and social value for any society, our objective is to promote it to generate the music professionals of the future.

The Chamber Music Young Talents is based on the idea of a mixed project made up of top-notch professional musicians and recent graduates who are beginning to integrate into the professional world. Joined to the Godella International Chamber Music Festival and directed by Joan Enric Lluna, the Young Talents project is where professors and musicians with consolidated and active careers are involved in the project with young musicians.

Registration for Joves Talents Chamber Music Workshop
Chamber Music Course
It will be held from July 10 to 17, 2023, at the same time as the XV International Chamber Music Festival in Godella, Valencia.
Who is the course for?
Music students in the latest years of their Professional, Bachelor, or Masters studies as well as early career professionals who wish to work intensively on chamber music together with musicians with internationally renowned careers.

Chamber Music Course
It will be held from July 10 to 17, 2023, at the same time as the XV International Chamber Music Festival in Godella, Valencia.
What does the Chamber Music Course offer?
Chamber music classes with the prestigious Diotima Quartet and the following teachers of the Festival Ensemble: Violin: Carles Civera (OCV)
Viola: Julia Hu (OCV)
Cello: Salvador Bolón (OCV, LSO)
Double Bass: Toni García (ONE, Escuela Superior Reina Sofía)
Flute: Francisco Varoch (Mahler Chamber Orchestra)
Oboe: Juan Antonio Ferriol (OSPA)
Clarinet: Joan Enric Lluna (OCV, ESMUC, Trinity College, London)
Piano: Carles Marín (international soloist, MA pedagogue), Luis Giner (pedagogue, Carcaixent Conservatory) and Juan Carlos Garvayo (RCSM, Trío Arbós)
- Rehearsals and preparation for the Festival Orchestra program.
- 1 or 2 public concerts in the Festival program (dates to be determined).
- Participation in the closing concert with the Festival Orchestra (Sunday, July 16)
- Chamber music masterclasses with faculty.
International Chamber Music Competition FIM Valencia
This year the XV International Chamber Music Residencies Festival and Course collaborates with the VIII International Music Festival of Manises-València (FIM), in its 2nd edition of the International Chamber Music Competition.
Groups that wish to participate in the Competition have the opportunity to prepare the repertoire in the encounters and during the Chamber Music Course of Godella with the aforementioned faculty.
Among the groups participating in the Godella Chamber Music Course, 3 to 5 groups will be selected to participate automatically in the International Competition to be held on July 17 (first phase in Godella) and July 18-19 (second phase and final in Manises within the FIM) without having to send a pre-selection video.
Prices (per person):
- 100€: 1 encounter, includes 2 classes per group.
- 150€: 2 encounters, includes 4 classes per group.
- 300€: Godella Chamber Music Course (master classes with the Diotima Quartet and Festival faculty).
- 350€: 1 encounter and participation in the Chamber Music Course and the Festival.
- 400€: 2 encounters and participation in the Chamber Music Course and the Festival.
Suggested repertoire to prepare during the encounters and Chamber Music Course
Quintet in G minor, op 39, Prokofiev (oboe, clarinet, violin, viola, double bass).
Overture on Hebrew themes, Prokofiev (clarinet, string quartet, piano).
This repertoire will be performed in one of the concerts scheduled during the Festival.
Those who wish to prepare it should indicate it, either individually or as a group, in case they have already played it previously.
Groups already formed may propose another repertoire of their choice.
Students who register individually will receive a group proposal after the registration deadline and it will depend on the instruments registered.
It is recommended that the groups that start in April have continuity until the Godella Chamber Music Course.
Registrations
Registrations for ensembles and individual instrumentalists are accepted (groups will be formed with the rest of the individual registrations).
Registrations for the encounters will be accepted until April 10 (meeting in Madrid) and June 1 (meeting in Valencia).
The deadline for registrations for the Chamber Music Course is June 30.

The Chamber Music Young Talents is a project that contains an absolutely pedagogical part that affects the incorporation of young people into the professional world of work.
Participating in the Festival offers young talents the opportunity to:
* Receive daily group classes with resident artists.
* Participate in the concerts of Young Talents.
* Play in a group in professional concerts, after selection.
* Free admission to all concerts and activities of the Festival.
* Promotion as a chamber group to cultural entities and institutions.
