Music constitutes an essential cultural and social value for any society, our objective is to promote it to generate the music professionals of the future.

The Chamber Music Young Talents is based on the idea of a mixed project made up of top-notch professional musicians and recent graduates who are beginning to integrate into the professional world. Joined to the Godella International Chamber Music Festival and directed by Joan Enric Lluna, the Young Talents project is where professors and musicians with consolidated and active careers are involved in the project with young musicians.

Registration for Joves Talents Chamber Music Workshop
Who is it for?
This workshop is for music students in the last years of high school, in music college bachelors or master’s degrees or early stages of their professional music careers who wish to work on chamber music or join musicians with international careers.
Schedule
The course will take place in parallel to the XVI Festival Internacional Residències de Música de Cambra de Godella: from the 15th to the 21st of July 2024.
What does this workshop offer?
- Chamber music lessons with the following professors from the Festival ensemble:
– Violin: Carles Civera (Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana) and Cassandra Didu (Orquestra de València)
– Cello: Salvador Bolón (Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana, London Symphony Orchestra)
– Oboe: Juan Antonio Ferriol (Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias)
– Clarinet: Joan Enric Lluna (Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana, ESMUC, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance) and Gema Guiot (pedagogue, Conservatori Superior de Música de Castelló)
– French horn: Josep M. Lluna
– Piano: Carles Marin (international soloist, pedagogue), Francesc Estellés (pedagogue, Conservatori Professional de Música de Valencia) and Luis Giner (pedagogue, Conservatori Professional de Música de Valencia) - Masterclass with the Cuareim Quintet
- Preparation sessions for the Festival orchestra
- Participation in the closing concert with the Festival orchestra (Sunday, 21st July)
- To have public concerts in the Festival programme (dates TBD)
- Piano sessions for specific chamber repertoire
- Free entry to all Festival concerts, except for gastronomic concert.
Is it possible to have individual sessions with the Festival professors?
Although the objective of these workshops is to work on chamber repertoire, it is also possible to request an individual session with any of the professors mentioned above. These sessions will take place at the professor’s availability and are limited in number. Each session will incur a €50 supplement on top of the base price of the course, which will be paid once the session is confirmed.
Repertoire to work on:
Pre-formed groups may bring their own repertoire.
Individuals who are looking for a chamber group will receive a group proposal after the deadline for registration, and will depend on available instruments.
We recommend individuals to sign up by June 20th to give ample time for group formation and repertoire preparation.

As in previous years, both pre-formed groups as well as individual instrumentalists are accepted. The deadline for registration is the 30th of June 2024.

Prices (per person)
– €250: Chamber music workshops (group lessons with the Festival Faculty and free
entry to all concerts, except the gastronomic concert). All pre-established groups of
three or more will have a reduction of €50 per person, a total of €200 per person.

The Chamber Music Young Talents is a project that contains an absolutely pedagogical part that affects the incorporation of young people into the professional world of work.
Participating in the Festival offers young talents the opportunity to:
* Receive daily group classes with resident artists.
* Participate in the concerts of Young Talents.
* Play in a group in professional concerts, after selection.
* Free admission to all concerts and activities of the Festival.
* Promotion as a chamber group to cultural entities and institutions.
